We bend over backwards to "deliver more than the customer expects" We have state of the art "Digital Capture Systems", but find that hard work is often more important. Many times we find that our clients require image capture on a specific time or day, a unique view, or a specific location which can pose problems as it may be overcast, lousy photographic conditions, or unique spot to shoot from. Below are "case studies" that detail why we say "it's ALL about the picture..."
USAA Realty Commercial Insurance Office in Reston, VA.
The client had a specific day that this shot needed to done as a representative was scheduled to be there for location decisions. The only requirement besides specific locations, was that it had to be a sunny day. We traveled hours to get there, and of course as we got near it clouded over. The roof top was captured as it was, then made sunny in the office.
Classic Catering Party for 500 - Walters Art Gallery - Baltimore, MD.
It's 4:30pm in the evening on a Saturday and at 6:30pm, 500 guests are to arrive. We need to capture 6 locations, stay out of the mad house of the set up, don't ask any questions, and don't upset the "host". All 6 locations are being set up at the same time and there were tons of carts and people, plus I need to be out of the Museum before anyone arrives. DONE !
W.L. Gore (Gore-Tex) Factory - Elkton, MD.
I think that the before shot says it all. After showing up at the factory, we went to the "wet" processing room. Because of the chemicals, the room needed the yellow lights to keep the chemicals from degrading. The marketing people wanted it to look "normal" yet show that they do use the "proper" lights. This required a lot of work, but when finished was perfect.
Automotive Interior - Washington DC Media Day.
The PR firm wanted an interior iPIX of this car from an event on
Capitol Hill. The problem was we had no studio lighting and limited time
with the car in a staging area at RFK stadium. We only had 20 minutes
with the car at RFK , then we "corrected" the shot and added the Capitol
Hill exterior back in our "digital studio."
Charter Homes -- Parade of Home Formal Foyer .
This is a similar situation to most of our high end home and model shoots. The homes have an open feel but usually will have few if any curtains or blinds and tend to have light blasting in. The entry doors are "blown out" and this causes the neutral colors to be washed out. After careful image capture we can correct all these problems and make it look as your eyes really see it.
Sweat Fitness Club - Philadelphia, PA.
We are the supplier of virtual tours for a national Fitness Marketing Group. Like most clubs, these are tough to shoot as the equipment is mostly black and often the clubs have walls of glass or mirrors. This is a typical example of how we start with a bad situation and deliver the quality. This had total enhancement and even a proper TV picture added on the pods.
Diakon Lutheran Services Wilderness Center .
We arrived with their web designer not knowing what to expect. They had a "ropes" course and they wanted an iPIX to show the entire tower. After some discussion, the designer suggested we use their bucket lift and shoot from 25 feet up. The sun and lighting were difficult, plus we needed to make the lift and me disappear. It's ALL about the picture...
Charter Homes -- Parade of Homes Conservatory .
The lighting in this room was very strong. The result of this, the carpet and furniture being white, and the need to show the dining room with an expensive wall covering made this shot need lots of work. We balanced the entire rooms lighting, cleaned up and corrected the wall full of windows and brought out the feel for the dining room. The result was a smooth feel and a great shot.
Jersey Paddler - PaddleSport - New Jersey Convention Center.
Upon arrival we were told they wanted an iPIX that would show the entire area. After some thinking the "idea" was that we could shoot from a scissor lift the Center had and this would show the size and feel of the show at the Convention Center. Obviously this location presented us with several problems, so we did a little "magic" and made the client overjoyed.
Classic Catering Party for 500 - Walters Art Gallery - Baltimore, MD.
This is a "typical problem" We needed this room as one of their feature shots, but as with the one above we are under a deadline and there were people everywhere. The problem with this, like many shots is the lighting was terrible. Since this was museum the lighting was for the statues, not for a guy with an iPIX camera. ZoomHome photography and perfecto !
Katahdin Cedar Log Home Manufacturer, Oakfield, Maine .
We scheduled this a month ahead and arranged with a local distributor and the home owner, then traveled two states to get there. When we awoke, the day was terrible and rainy. Inside shots were not a problem, but as usual the client wanted a "nice" day. Twenty minutes of no rain, and we got our outside shot, in our office we made a nice day and a satisfied client.
USAA Realty Commercial Insurance Office in Reston Va.
This is the ground floor view of USAA. As with the roof top image above, the day had turned cloudy and really didn't show off the beauty of the fall colors. Since their requirement was that it had to be a nice day. We got to work and added in trees and an overall feel that the client had specifically requested. With ZoomHome, you get unusual attention to details everyday.
We have hundreds of examples and stories just like these on how we solved our clients "Virtual Tour" needs. Call us to see how we can create dynamic images for you, it'll be worth your time because after all, "it's ALL about the picture....."
